Ah, signs upon signs of bright neon lights. It was a bit blinding. There were signs for restaurants, boutiques, and of course Akihabara’s famous host club, Taste the Static. Tsuyuki had wandered into Akihabara unknowingly. To escape the annoying sight of neon lights in his face, he escaped into the host club. Although, he wasn’t aware of that as of yet. He had intended to go to a shop that he had heard about from one of the guys in Roppongi from the host club, Tengoku de 7 min. He traveled the distance from Roppongi to Akihabara precisely for that reason. However, it seems that it was sold out as soon as he arrived. At that point, he should have just gone home. So, being a host of Tengoku de 7min, what was he doing in a rival host club like Taste the Static?
Well, it began with that one thought. ‘I wonder if there’s anything I could get for the guys at Tengoku?’ Had he not thought of that, perhaps his mind wouldn’t have wandered. You see, Tsuyuki was a bit of an odd ball. A little bit of an airhead despite his rough and disciplined appearance. If allowed to let his mind wander, it could continue to wander from a simple thought to something totally opposite. It wouldn’t be such a big problem if it wasn’t for the fact that it constantly distracted him from a task at hand. As he wondered if he should get Akihabara souvenirs for his co-workers, he found that he had gotten himself lost. In addition, without realizing it, day had turned to night.
And so, he found himself in this host club. He took the time to take note of his surroundings. The first thing that wasn’t hard to miss was the loud music pounding his ear drums. If he could recall, it was that song from the latest album of a popular band. Another thing he noticed were glow in the dark drinks which caught his eye. He wasn’t so much paying attention to the people since the drinks had caught his attention. There was almost a fluorescent-like glow to them. The shape of the glass, the transparency..these things that normally wouldn’t have caught someone’s attention caught his. He took a seat somewhere, trying to ignore some of with their heavy make up and the overwhelming scent of perfume. For some reason, it seemed familiar…
As he started to draw the drinks on scrap paper, something else had caught Tsuyuki’s attention. Well, it wasn’t really a something but a someone. No, it wasn’t really a ‘I see someone I want to be in love with’ kind of glance. That kind of glance was unlike Tsuyuki. Rather, he saw it from an artistic point of view. It was for that reason that he found this person aesthetically pleasing to look at. It was a person of the male persuasion. He had a mischievous kind of look about him and it wasn’t often that Tsuyuki saw someone with white hair and red eyes like this one. He immediately took out his sketch journal, drawing the albino man.
Sharp features, a body that seemed well muscled though not excessively so, and a symmetrical face. These were just a few of the qualities Tsuyuki noticed and he drew them skillfully on his journal. It might be rude, or rather strange, but at times he would stare at some of the man’s features. He was in one of his trances again, the kind he gets when he is really focused on something. At the least, he attempted to be discreet. Because he was so focused on drawing the picture, it made him a little annoyed that some girls tried to talk with him, though he humored them with occasional responses, not wanting to seem rude. Ah, but it would be nice if they would at least not stand so close with that irritating scent. The scent of perfume & makeup.

No shifts today and it seems Ruu was busy as well. He was already done studying as he had spent most of his nights doing that so that he could get a day off today. He had no shifts either and had planned to invite her to Taste the Static just to see how their cafe was but it seems that she was busy today. What a shame but he decided to just go there by himself. Maybe he will find out something interesting. So he had smiled to his parents stating that he was going out today with some of his friends even if in truth he didn't really have anyone. He had acquaintances and victims but not that many friends and really friends are just assets to the boy. Although before he left he did left her a message on her cell phone. Even if he couldn't afford a cellphone he was able to at least pay for the electricity for the house. Otherwise he won't be able to use the microwave or the computer to do research projects at home. After easily lying to his parents, really they are to gullible he was sure if he said he was going out to save the world from moth people they would believe him, he had walked, that's right walked to the eastern side of Japan. It was good exercise but his real reason was to save on money. Even though his parents had given him money, it had went towards his house fund really, although it was barely anything at all, just enough to pay for two tickets, one to go to the Eastern side and one to come back.
After the long walk he found himself hungry. Yeah it was a good thing he was going to the host club alright since he needed a place to eat. Also it would be good to get away from the cold as well. Even though it wasn't snowing, he can still see his own breath and really that was not a good sign at all. He hurried his steps to try to escape from the cold. Come on, it should be somewhere around here right? Soon his ears picked up rather booming music, the kind that would easily get him annoyed. Not that he hated music, oh no he liked music like most kids even if he can't afford things like an iPod. Rather he just hated to hear such loud music, it annoyed him but at least it practically screamed the location of the place. He started to run over, lucky for him not many people seemed to be outside today and so as he came inside, he was attacked by the sound at full power. Great. A part of him had wanted to cover his ears. Although he did admire how cool it looked, it was like something based on mangas, well the sci-fi ones. He even spotted some arcade games but those cost money and he wanted to save as much yen as possible. There didn't seem to be too many seats either. That wasn't good, so many couples too so there wasn't any room for him to squeeze in and it would feel weird to come as a third party. This was not a good day to come at all.
Yet despite the bad situation he found himself, he looked rather calm. His golden orbs spotted a guy who seems to be writing...no drawing on a notepad. Eh? Who comes here to draw? he looked at the few stolen glances the guy would give and saw the target. Oh someone was being a creeper. The perfect target since he was sitting alone, there was a couple of extra seats even. He strode over to the man with a small polite smile on his face. He made a small bow. "E-e-eto...would you mind if I sit with you? It's cold outside and...well...there isn't that many seats. I-I'm really sorry I'll make sure I won't bother you." he requested in a meek voice even going as far as stuttering a couple of his words. Hopefully he can appeal to the softer side of the man as he did seem to be a little harsh looking. He even noted a couple of girls looking over but not at the silver haired male. Oh no, he was a kid, they didn't have that much of a reason especially the way they huddled together. If anything they were talking about the raven haired stranger. Guess girls really did like the mysterious type don't they?
Even though the lights weren't exactly that lit, he could see the small amount of make up and at their distance smelled the disgusting aroma known as perfume. He really abhor perfume and make up. Really he could never understand them. For perfumes, well what? Did the girl not take baths? Are they smelly because they can't? Why are the so self-conscious over such an idiotic thing? As for make up, well really if the guy doesn't like you without it, he doubt they would like the person very much with make up on. He had almost rolled his eyes at the mere thought but decided to return his attention to the black haired little creeper that he wanted to sit with. The small polite smile still there as he scratched the back of his head and behind his head down to avoid the gaze to appear even more shy. | [atrb=style, background: #ffffff; color: ccbdcf; font-family: Georgia; padding: 0px 5px]WORDS ● 918 TAGGED ● my twin Tsuyuki NOTES ● congrats~ TEMPLATE ● jawn of AA, OTE, DMB and TC |
