Kameko.Was.So.Tired. Studying was hard, and it didn't make things any easier since all she wanted to do was to lay down and go off to la la land. Kameko sighed looking at her history book, slowly blinking her eyes somehow wishing that she would suddenly be energized and full of ambition. But sadly Kameko still sat in study hall tired. She wanted to throw her things in the air and to just run away from school to get away from the stress. Why couldn't things be simple in life? Why did they always have to be so complicated, WHY DID SHE HAVE TO STUDY STUPID HISTORY. Kameko slumped in her chair flipping the pages of her stupid book. "Stupid stupid stupid..."
Maybe she just needed a tiny nap, yeah that was it. Straighting up Kameko leaned on the palm of her hand, then just laid her face on the top of the table not really caring if it was cold for right now. It was simple, she could sleep for just five minutes and then when she woke up she could finish studying with no problem at all! Kameko smiled sleepily at that idea. She had been working her butt off after all. "Just five minutes, just five..." Kameko mumbled as her eyes slowly started to close.
"Once I wake up I'll finish my work and study a little bit more." and with that said Kameko finally started to drift off. Sadly for her someone was bound to wake the poor girl up.
comments: yeah nothing creative, SOMEONE WAKE HER UP

SHAKE ME DOWN, CUT MY HAIR ON A SILVER CLOUD, broken sound, softly laying on the ground Satoru blinked slowly, eyelids drooping as he yawned into a fist. He walked sluggishly through the hallways of Morinozuka, letting his head droop forward as if to give off the illusion that he was sleepy when in truth he was as alert as ever. School had been another borefest, and later he’d have to put on that fancy outfit and start the other half of the day at Tengoku. The brunette’s lips pursed together softly as his hand dipped into his uniform pocket, pulling out a cellphone. With a flick of his wrist and a slip of his thumb the eighteen year old blinked blankly at the screen, half-expecting a new message and half dreading it. Luckily the screen was void of any alerts, and a slightly exasperated sigh slipped past his lips. Who was he expecting a message from? Why, his good ‘ol pal Mashiro Fuyumine. It only seemed like yesterday that they were hanging out in the Fuyumine household and Satoru had so nonchalantly worked in a confession while playing video games.
“Tch.” jerking his chin upwards with a small pout, the Tengoku host couldn’t help but sneer at the memory. He didn’t even want to think about it. It wasn’t so much that rejection was cold, it was more the fact the way he was rejected, and just the minor detail that Mashiro was the one to be rejecting. Satoru didn’t want to think about how he thought it was cute when he apologized, he didn’t want to think about how it changed a lot of things, he didn’t want to think about how they couldn’t do anything anymore, he didn’t want to think about it being awkward, he didn’t want to think about Mashiro’s pity pancakes, he didn’t want to think about the way he smiled, or laughed, or followed his female crushes like a dog while being so oblivious to his own best friends feelings. Oh. That was another thing he didn’t want to think about, how they would never be best friends again.
Satoru blew up his bangs with a puff of air, scowling at this point instead of just a mediocre frowny face. Great, now he was thinking about it. Not like he was some charity case who needed the tears of others to make his own pathetic problems seem significant, this was his problem alone, and he’d deal with it on his own. Even if dealing with it particularly meant not telling anyone and just shutting out Mashiro altogether. It was a cruel thought, but it was the best one he could think of at the moment. Mashiro was his only phone contact besides work anyway, why did he even need a phone anymore?
“Ha. Ha. Ha.” he faked laughter, rolling his golden orbs sluggishly as the fourth year nonchalantly tossed his phone over his shoulder with an apathetic stare. He didn’t need any of these extra feelings of bitterness or anguish, he was a host, he had plenty of paying customers and a great life. Walking forward with his hands stuffed in his pocket as if trying to be a tough kid, the former gang-member paused, slowing to a stop before glancing over his shoulder. With another frown, the brunette let out a loud groan as he did a 180 degree turn, shuffling over quietly back to his abandoned cellular device meekly. Glancing around the hallway, he bent over and plucked it up, sighing through his nose.
“Fuuuuuck.” the brunette glowered, squeezing his phone tightly as he held his head in the opposite hand. He really was in a rut right now.
“What a shame, really, I’m wasting my time on a little kid.”
Heaving another heavy sigh, he turned into the study hall, books held tightly against his side by the crook of his elbow. It was extremely stupid, it made Satoru feel more than nauseous to think he was lovesick over some oblivious dorky child. The senior’s eyebrows furrowed as he bit his bottom lip – he could just live happily ever after with that stupid red-headed girl he was obsessed with. Satoru wouldn’t mind, he definitely wouldn’t, it was the absolute last thing he –
“Ara?” the brunette blinked once at the sight of a red-head, asleep over one of the study hall tables. He instinctively made his way towards where Kaneko was snoozing, taking a seat at the same table. Sliding his books quietly in place, he scooched his chair up close towards the girl, head tilting to the side slowly as he examined her face. She was quite pretty, with nice, pale skin and a cute complexion. Satoru’s cheek rolled against his fist as he continued to stare, noses almost touching while two minutes of silence passed. He listened to her breath slowly, and finally he smirked.
“Brilliant place to take a nap, princess. However did you get such a lovely idea?” he whispered softly before flicking her forehead curtly, letting his chair fall backwards on its legs, making a loud slapping sound against the floor. “I can tell you must be quite the bright girl.” he mumbled sarcastically, waving a hand around in the air as he flashed a smile Kaneko’s way.
“Thankfully for you, I find the whole seductive sleeping pose to be quite unpleasant. I wouldn’t dream of taking advantage of that.” he continued to tease, beginning to balance a pencil on his upper lip, taking a glance or two over at the red head before becoming preoccupied with his balancing act again. He really had to stop this habit of starting conversations with strangers, he wasn’t sociable, no, but once he started Satoru really had a difficult time stopping.
"Satoru's my name, you're quite the looker so designate me sometime. Kay?" it was really all about the money in the end. He pulled a business card out of his pocket, tossing it Kaneko's way. When he put his game face on for the girl's that he actually liked, it came down to the green.
notes: thought I'd just like, idunno squeeze in here xD hope you don't mind.

You know how when you’re about to hit that deep sleep but something always wakes you up from that? Well that’s how Kameko was at this point; thank god she didn’t start drooling at one point. Her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion hearing a voice; was that in her dream? It was then the eighteen year old jolted up from a flick to the forehead and a loud thud of a chair. Kameko looked around urgently more awake than ever. Her heart beating through her chest, her fingers trembling from all of what just happened. As you could tell the girl was in faced scared for life and was clearly confused. Why would someone wake her up like that? Sure she said that she would sleep for just five minutes but who would have guessed this stranger would be her alarm clock? Her purple gaze then landed on the guy sitting next to her. Kameko poked out her bottom lip clearly displeased. What a jerk, she knew for a fact that he did that to her. With an upset pout her trembling fingers went to her forehead as she rubbed the place where he flicked her in the head.
“I-I was just closing my eyes. You just thought I was uhm, sleeping…” She lied with a small whimper, she felt like she had just gotten in trouble for cheating on a test. Kameko looked at the brunette before turning her gaze to her abandoned history book. Her fingers brushed across the pages before closing the book all together knowing that if she tried to study now with her new “friend” she wouldn’t accomplish anything. “Is that sarcasm I hear Mr. Stranger?” she chimed raising a brow towards his way. Kameko was all too familiar with this tone thanks to Akiko and his harsh bickering. It was as if every time the two got together they would always into meaningless fights. Kameko sat up straight perching her elbows on the table resting her chin on the palms of her hands. She grinned towards his direction still wondering why he woke her up. Yeah, she was upset but there was nothing she could do about it.
A small blush grew on the girls cheeks as she looked off in embarrassment, she hoped she wasn’t snoring. “Okay so what I was sleeping it’s not like I did a crime or anything~” she said slowly reaching over the table to grab the pencil that he was balancing. “I’ll be taking this thank you very much!” she hummed now doodling on a blank sheet of paper out of habit. “You must be pretty bored to wake me up like that. I gotta say; that was pretty mean.” She said with a tiny frown glancing his way “If you were sleeping I wouldn’t have woken you up. Maybe draw on your face but not wake you up.” She continued drawing a cute little fox on the corner of her paper.
Kameko looked at the card a long time, was he expecting her to just pick it up and agree to such a thing? “Hmm, thanks for the compliment but…I don’t think I can do that~” she smiled sweetly as she placed the card on top of one of her books. “So you work at 7MIN? That’s really nice~ I work at taste the static. Small world hmm? So don’t think you’ll win me over with such a silly compliment!” she purred tilting her head towards his direction. “I’m Kameko by the way nice to meet you Satoru even if you did wake me up from a pleasant dream.” She finished before continuing to doodle on the paper then onto his card drawing a smiley face along with some stars. Kameko was curious about this other but she wasn’t going to shower him with questions. At least not now.
comments: i don't mind at all 8DD lol i'm glad you replied~ btw you were spelling kameko's name wrong~

NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE LEFT AROUND, in my life i have seen people walk into the sea Satoru couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the oddball red-head, a smirk hinting at the corners of his mouth. “Sarcasm?” he inquired softly, blinking stupidly as he lifted an index finger to point towards himself.
“Why, I’ve never heard of the word.” the oblivious expression was immediately replaced with a blank stare, mouth pursed into a thin line before letting a conceited chuckle slip. Indeed, sarcasm was something the brunette couldn’t help but use frequently. Some would say it was the best way he could express how he was feeling. The eighteen year old eyed the girl carefully as she placed his business card on her stack of books. He had to get around to earning income somehow, spreading the word about Tengoku (not that it was in need of any more advertising than it already got) was what he was obliged to do as an employee anyway. His teeth gritted together slightly out of annoyance, there was always something Satoru was ‘obliged’ to do since he agreed to work with this company. F&E was really a troublesome company, they not only made him partake in the dating website branch, he felt like a lapdog. Well, either way it was a way to kill time, any other job would be just as tedious and at least his work was amusing.
“So you work at 7MIN? That’s really nice~ I work at taste the static. Small world hmm? So don’t think you’ll win me over with such a silly compliment!” The fourth years chocolate colored orbs slid back towards Kameko, cocking another eyebrow at her announcement. So, she was a hostess too? And a rival hostess to boot, the smirk on the boy’s face only grew as he tipped backwards in his chair. “S’that so? Well, Kameko-chan, I’ll let you know none of my compliments are ‘silly’” the brunette continued to lean back dangerously, only the heel of his sneaker keeping him from falling backwards as it rested on the top of the study hall’s desk. Satoru let his head drop to the side, glancing in the redhead’s direction before gracing her with a bright smile.
“They’re quite genuine; you’re going to break a few hearts if you keep saying things like that. What if I was one of those sensitive guys who cried over something like a comment about a bad haircut? I could be an emotional wreck for all you know.” with a blink he shifted his foot away from the edge of the table, letting the chair fall back on the ground again with another loud clatter just like earlier. He leaned close, smiling as sweetly as he could muster, his head tilting to the side slightly. The eighteen year olds palm open and closed before landing on his chest.
“Ah, yup, looks like things are all in tact here.” he muttered dryly, staring half-lidded into her own light-colored orbs before dropping his elbows on the surface of the desk.
“And I’m sure reality beats a dream any day.” the brunette stated ‘as a matter of factly’ while extending his arm towards Kameko a little as if he was about to do something romantically cheesy like cup her cheek, but instead he formed a flat palm and pressed it against the girl’s forehead.
“I mean, you can actually touch me you know? I would hope there’s a notable line between the two.” he blinked once, letting his hand fall back on to the table as his eyes flickered away for a moment. He was still teasing her, but it was really just how his natural speech pattern was. Plus, it was just how he thought, dreams weren’t real after all, they were only something to dwell in. His mouth curled upwards in an amused notion as his fingers began to drum lightly against the table, attention sliding back towards his companion who he’d just met.
“Fantasizing about anyone special, perhaps? After all, it seems safe to assume that it wasn’t me since it’s only our first meeting.”
notes: OWOWWWWW i feel so bad now. ITS JUST THE M AND N LOOK SO SIMILAR IN MY HEAD ;n; /failcorners

As Satoru stared back at her with a blank expression Kameko couldn’t help but to shit in her chair feeling the need to do something. His staring was starting to make her very uncomfortable and she wished that she would have walked away when she had a chance. If he never heard of the word before then what was he doing in high school? Now Kameko wasn’t the person to bring that type of thing up because let’s face it; she was a punk. There was no way she was going to tell this boy what she was thing about at this point. But instead of being a confident little girl Kameko avoided eye contact with him looking her handwritten notes. A small blush grew on her cheeks not helping to but let out a nervous laugh as if he had told a joke. Even if he did say that his compliment was the truth didn’t mean she was going to accept it. Sadly Kameko was still her insecure self and she knew it was going to take a lot more than a silly compliment to make her feel better about herself. It was depressing, the girl couldn’t just look in the mirror and admit that she was attractive.
The corner of her lip twitched as guilt started to set it, “Well I never thought of it that way…” her tiny voice trailed off as her eyes drifted from him to the chair that he was in. She was starting to make up a bet in the back of her head; when would he fall. Would he get up and act like nothing happened or would he scamper off embarrassed? She shrugged her shoulders lightly as she grinned towards him after seeing his smile. “Well…If you were that kind of guy I’d apologize a thousand times until you forgave me. I’d feel horrible.” She said truthfully but she knew just by looking at him that he wasn’t the guy to pull something like that. He was too, confident, if that’s what you wanted to call it. Kameko leaned back in her chair as he leaned forward; what the heck was he doing? A small sigh escaped her lips relaxing for a moment. She felt the need to stay focused or she would end up saying something stupid.
“Er…Well.” She started, she didn’t dare gush about her fantasy dreams to some guy she just met. Not to mention some of those dreams were about mommy AKA Shouta. Her face turned red as she covered her face, body trembling holding back a fangirl squeal. She was pathetic when it came to love, Kameko didn’t know what to do. If she wasn’t able to tell the boy her feelings when they were younger what was the point of letting him know now? Hell, he didn’t know a thing about how she felt about him and she wanted to keep it that way; forever. Funny at how everyone else knew about her girlish crush on Shouta, she would have those dreams where they stood together alone, gazing into each other’s eyes and pouring out their feelings towards each other. Then just as she was about to lovingly kiss him her alarm would go off and there she was in her reality state. She wasn’t that witty girl that she dreamed about but just the goofball that hid her feelings by acting like a kid.
Lifting her head up she blinked; clueless. His warm hand pressed against her forehead while she just looked off flustered. “But it’s still nice to dream you know, so many things can happen in a dream that can’t happen in real life. You’re able to be who you want and it wouldn’t matter because everything turns out perfectly” she them frowned grimly, “Until someone turns into a monster and your running down the street trying to not get killed…Did I say that out loud…?” she mumbled the last part lightly slapping her head.
Kameko sunk in her chair tugging her hair; she didn’t want to admit that she was actually having romantic fantasies about one of her dearest childhood friends. “I didn’t really have a change to dream. Before I could hit that layer of sleep some cutie decided it would be smart to wake me up scaring me half to death.”
